Run Jane Run is a new concept in retailing sportswear. We are not your typical sports company. We have carved a niche for ourself in the fiercely competitive sports industry by focusing on the female athlete, coach, and sports enthusiast.

Run Jane Run was founded in 2004 to market and sell women’s golf, tennis and active apparel and gear through our website, events and a network of independent consultants. By concentrating just on women and their specific needs we are able to bring to you the very best in female sportswear Whether you are just starting out or an expert at what you do Run Jane Run aims to bring you a carefully selected range of products for your activities.

In selecting goods for this site and for sale through our consultants and events we look at 4 key elements.

1. Run Jane Run's goal is to identify the best women's apparel and equipment for your sport. Any product that is an adaptation of a male product doesn't get past first base.
2. From an overwhelming selection of different fabrics, styles and designs. We strive to bring you products we believe performs best and offers excellent value. In doing this we discard anything that will not wash well or stand the test of time... On the web site you'll find a collection of equipment and apparel designed for women and quite often designed by women. We wear the products we sell.
3. If you look good, you feel good. If you feel like you belong, then you'll perform like you belong. At Run Jane Run we understand that you want to look as good as you can, whatever your chosen activity. Wearing sportswear is based on an attitude. It's about showing confidence on the court or on the course, as well as looking good.
4. Run Jane Run has built an online community where women share their sports experiences and preferences. what you need for your first time out, where to get lessons, associations, travel information and women's events. We make it a priority to listen to our customers.

After meeting with a focus group of women athletes and business women we decided the best way to sell the collections was through the internet, trunk parties and events. For those of you not familiar with trunk parties basically it is a mobile sports boutique that comes to life in the consultant’s livingroom. A consultant opens up their home for one week twice a year. The clothing, gear etc is shipped to their home and their home becomes a shop for the week. Invited guests shop and place orders, the “trunks” travel to the next consultant and place their orders are placed with the Run Jane Run. Our consultants find this method so attractive becauses there is a beginning, a middle and an end. The consultant has an opportunity to make additional income, the customer has the opportunity to network and socialize with women in sports and get fashionable, well priced sports apparel & gear not available in the cookie cutter stores.

There are no high-pressure salespeople to deal with, no lines or busy parking lots to contend with. The only thing you'll find at a Run Jane Run event is a house full of smiling faces, great products and a great shopping experience.
